Shearman & Sterling represented the Province of British Columbia in connection with its public offering of US$2,000,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its 4.800% Bonds, Series BCUSG-14, due November 15, 2028, which closed on November 15, 2023.
British Columbia, with an estimated population of 5.4 million people in 2023, is the third-largest Canadian province by population and home to Vancouver, Canada’s third-largest city.
